Overview
The Scarlet SL-27 is a compact, rechargeable intrinsically safe torch built for work in hazardous Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas. Certified to ATEX / IECEx (Ex II 2G Ex ib op is IIC T4 Gb), it gives oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, mining and manufacturing teams a reliable light source where flammable gases and vapours may be present.
A 3 W Cree LED delivers up to 100 lumens, with High, Low and Strobe modes selected through a tactical tail switch designed for overhand grip. The long-life 18650 Li-ion battery recharges in about 6 hours and runs for up to 16 hours on Low. The aviation-grade anodized aluminium body is IP67 waterproof and dustproof, with an impact-resistant tempered glass lens, anti-slip diamond knurling that works with gloves, and an arc-shaped head that can break glass in an emergency.
