Overview
The Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker Pro with LiNK + Vane Mount is a rugged, field-ready WBGT meter for monitoring heat stress on construction sites, oil & gas facilities, industrial plants, military training and sports fields. It measures wind speed, temperature, globe temperature, humidity and pressure to calculate Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), Heat Index and Thermal Work Limit (TWL), with built-in ACGIH, TB MED 507 and athletic guidelines to support safe work/rest decisions.
Adjustable flag thresholds trigger a loud buzzer, bright LED beacon and on-screen warnings when heat stress rises. Kestrel LiNK Bluetooth streams live readings and logged data to the free iOS/Android app, while the built-in compass adds wind direction, crosswind and headwind. The included Vane Mount lets the meter rotate into the wind on a tripod for continuous, hands-free monitoring, and the IP67 waterproof, drop-tested housing is built for harsh outdoor conditions.
