- The Tekneka IR85 is a high-performance temperature measurement device that incorporates non-contact infrared technology and a physical K-type probe input. With a distance-to-spot ratio of 50:1, this device allows you to measure small targets from a considerably safer distance than traditional thermometers. It has a fast 150ms sample speed to record temperature changes in real-time and dual laser targeting to show you precisely where the measurement is being recorded. The IR85 is especially useful when you need to test the temperature of moving machinery, active electrical components, or high-temperature surfaces that are physically impossible or unsafe to touch.
