Overview

The Extech 380926 is a 2000 A True RMS AC/DC clamp meter with a built-in full-function digital multimeter. Its rugged 2 in (50 mm) jaw accommodates one 2000MCM or two 500MCM cables, making it suited to heavy industrial power distribution, switchgear, generators, DC systems and large motor feeders.

Beyond high current through the clamp, the autoranging DMM measures AC/DC voltage to 1000 V, current to 400 mA via the test leads with 0.1 µA resolution, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, diode and continuity. Readings appear on a large 4000-count backlit display, and the meter offers DCA push-button zero, relative measurements and data hold. The heavy-duty ABS case has a built-in stand and thumb-operated function switch. Rated CAT IV-600V. Supplied with test leads and a 9 V battery.
