Overview
The Extech 382252 is a complete earth ground resistance tester kit that includes all the hardware needed to measure earth ground in three ranges from 20 Ω to 2000 Ω. It is used to verify earthing systems for buildings, substations, telecom towers, lightning protection and electrical installations.
The tester uses a <2.5 mA, 820 Hz test signal and also measures earth voltage, AC/DC voltage up to 1000 V, resistance and continuity. A large dual display with backlight, test hold, automatic zero adjustment, auto power off, and over-range and low-battery indication make field testing simple. Rated CAT III-1000V. The kit comes with test leads, two auxiliary earth bars, a carrying case, a protective rubber holster and six AA batteries.
