Overview
The Mitutoyo 1044A is a compact Series 1 dial indicator with a 5 mm measuring range and 0.01 mm graduation. Its small 40 mm bezel makes it ideal for machine setups, fixtures and comparators where space is limited, while delivering the accuracy and reliability Mitutoyo is known for.
The latest Type A design features a scratch-resistant, anti-glare coated crystal, a hardened stainless steel stem and spindle, and an O-ring sealed bezel and crystal that protect the movement from water and oil. It is fitted with a carbide contact point on a standard M2.5 × 0.45 thread, has a lug back and 8 mm stem for mounting on stands and holders, and a black bezel and dust cap.
