Overview
The Extech 380950 is an 80 A mini AC/DC clamp meter with a small-diameter elongated jaw, designed for high-resolution current measurements in hard-to-reach locations. It performs AC and DC low-current tests where typical clamps cannot go, such as crowded panels, wiring harnesses, telecom frames and control cabinets.
The 4 A range gives 1 mA resolution for accurate low-current readings, and the jaw opens to 0.5 in (12.7 mm). The meter also measures AC/DC voltage to 600 V, resistance, capacitance, frequency and duty cycle, with diode test, continuity beeper and data hold on a 4000-count LCD. Rated CAT III-600V. Supplied with test leads, two AAA batteries and a carrying case.
